Glyn Satterley first came to Scotland as an art student, inspired by the bleakness and grandeur of the Scottish landscape. He returned many times later with a camera, finally settling in Edinburgh in 1982. Since then he has compiled an impressive colour library of Scottish landscape. Some of these images have been sourced by corporate clients such as the Bank of Scotland to enhance their offices, and many have been used by Scottish Natural Heritage, The Royal Mail, Caledonian MacBrayne, Scottish National Trust, and the various tourist boards, to promote the uniqueness and beauty of Scotland. Edinburgh Airport have recently commissioned a permanent exhibition of large Scottish colour landscapes. Do contact us if you would like to purchase any individual colour prints from this site, or to discuss bespoke sets for corporate use.
Glyn has pictures of most areas from the Borders to Shetland, including the Western Isles and St. Kilda. As well as landscapes, there are many subjects akin to Scotland, e.g., castles (including a set on Skibo Castle), crofting, crafts, farming, forestry, food, Harris Tweed, whisky, golf, Scottish country houses and interiors, etc. (see Stock List).
