Glyn Satterley has produced over the last twenty years, an extensive body of work looking at the way of life on Highland Sporting Estates. A proportion of this work was about fishing, and this led to the commission of The Scottish Fishing Book, published by Lomond Books.

It is a celebration of the wonderful diversity of fishing available on Scotland's rivers, lochs and coasts. The large library of colour photographs from this book includes all the main rivers - Tweed, Tay, Thurso, Spey, Helmsdale, Dee, Don, Brora, Nith, many good fishing lochs and some sea angling and pike fishing. There are photographs of fishing ghillies at work, people of all ages catching fish, and over a hundred of the best places to fish throughout Scotland and the Islands. Glyn also works for Country Life, Field and The Annual Scottish Fishing Guide, and has a growing library of fishing images on file.
